In what way can an unknown or unfamiliar language start making sense while moving? How can it resonate within the body and initiate a dance?

The exploration of language and movement takes place simultaneously, without any distinction. The participants find themselves in a full immersion situation, they’re asked to respond to what’s happening around them in a very spontaneous way. Language memorisation is linked to a physical action, without involving any translation. This practice evolves in a very playful environment, which brings in trust and allows for the body to relax all the way to the tongue muscles, thus enabling flow of speech.

Open to all. All skill levels in English and/or dance are welcome. This is how this practice is enriched.

Price:
A three day Weekend: 170€ + 20 € Centre Lafaurie annual membership.
Please contact us for all information concerning housing.

Schedule :
Saturday 05.15.27 – 10a.m.-1p.m & 3-6p.m.
Sunday 05.16.27 – 10a.m.-1p.m & 3-6p.m.
Monday 05.17.27 – 9a.m.-12p.m & 2-5p.m.

Information :
by mail: centrelafaurie(at)free.fr or agnes.benoit(at)booksonthemove.fr
phone: +33 (0)5 56 71 05 47 (Centre Lafaurie) or +33 (0)6 65 15 53 43 (Agnès Benoit)

Registration: via Centre Lafaurie : centrelafaurie(at)free.fr

How to get to Centre Lafaurie: HERE

[560

post-48070","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-currently
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.7 -
