Une \u00e9pist\u00e9mologie de la performance.<\/p>\n

Relevant souvent de l’enqu\u00eate de terrain de la part d’auteurs qui sont aussi les acteurs de leur objet d’\u00e9tude, ce livre, tout en abordant les enjeux politiques, contextuels et de genres propose une \u00e9pist\u00e9mologie de la performance en questionnant les moyens et les m\u00e9thodes d’acc\u00e8s \u00e0 sa connaissance, son histoire, sa m\u00e9moire (vivante), dans son actualit\u00e9. Cet ouvrage donne suite au colloque international \u00ab La performance : vie de l’archive et actualit\u00e9 \u00bb organis\u00e9 par la Villa Arson et l’AICA France avec le concours du Getty Research Institute. Il interroge les d\u00e9finitions et le statut de la performance alors que celle-ci est enfin int\u00e9gr\u00e9e \u00e0 sa juste valeur au sein du champ \u00e9largi des arts visuels, au point qu’on assiste \u00e0 la multiplication des reenactments. De sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s diff\u00e9rentes , critiques d’art, historiens et historiennes de l’art, commissaires d’expositions, philosophes, artistes . les auteurs offrent des analyses vari\u00e9es et compl\u00e9mentaires centr\u00e9es sur une probl\u00e9matique fondamentale de la performance : l’archive et le statut des documents, des photographies, des objets, qui constituent l’art de la performance ou en t\u00e9moignent.<\/p>\n
