Une s\u00e9rie photographique juxtapose performeurs et objets, cr\u00e9ant une somme d&#8217;associations contradictoires. Pour l&#8217;accompagner, deux textes de Paul B. Preciado\u00a0: un essai sur la philosophie du geste, et un po\u00e8me sur la subjectivit\u00e9 sexuelle,\u00a0r\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec l&#8217;aide d&#8217;une intelligence artificielle.<\/div>\n<div class=\"citation\">L&#8217;exposition \u00ab\u00a0An Ideal for Living\u00a0\u00bb, con\u00e7ue par Alexandra Bachzetsis pour le Centre culturel suisse, fait partie d&#8217;une recherche sur les corps dans le temps, qui abouti aussi \u00e0 une pi\u00e8ce chor\u00e9graphique, <em>Escape Act<\/em>. L&#8217;artiste y explore notamment la relation des corps et des objets, qu&#8217;elle consid\u00e8re dans une forme de r\u00e9versibilit\u00e9, et associe au processus de construction de l&#8217;imaginaire et du d\u00e9sir. Elle s&#8217;est inspir\u00e9e de la culture voguing\u00a0\u2013 et notamment du film documentaire <em>Paris is burning <\/em>(1991)\u00a0\u2013, un style de danse urbaine apparue dans les communaut\u00e9s transgenre et gay afro et latino am\u00e9ricaines, et caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par les poses-mannequin et autres mouvements codifi\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Une installation de trois projections vid\u00e9o montre deux adolescents, un gar\u00e7on et une fille \u00e0 la ressemblance troublante, jouant de situations r\u00e9elles et chantant. Des socles bas \u00e9voquant des petites structures sc\u00e9niques, c\u00f4toient des \u00e9quipements de salle de gym destin\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chauffement du corps. Des objets, d&#8217;abord con\u00e7us pour prot\u00e9ger d&#8217;un danger ou pour optimiser certains exercices physiques, s&#8217;av\u00e8rent aussi susceptibles d&#8217;\u00eatre utilis\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re violente ou dangereuse. L&#8217;ambivalence de ces objets ainsi r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e renvoie aux ambigu\u00eft\u00e9s, potentiellement subversives, du langage des corps.<\/p>\n<p>Ce livre d&#8217;artiste, \u00e9dit\u00e9 par le Centre culturel suisse et dont Julia Born r\u00e9alise le graphisme, accompagne l&#8217;exposition. Les photographies de poses des danseurs-performeurs de<em> Escape Act<\/em> se juxtaposent avec celles d&#8217;objets ambivalents, et sont rythm\u00e9es par des injonctions \u00e0 effectuer des mouvements. Deux contributions de Paul B.
