L\u2019ouvrage retrace ces 10 ann\u00e9es avec plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations d\u2019\u00e9tudiants et de tr\u00e8s importants artistes de la sc\u00e8ne de la c\u00f4te Ouest am\u00e9ricaine. Workshops, s\u00e9minaires, expositions clefs et discussions avec Andrea Fraser, Paul McCarthy, Agnieszka Kurant, Cally Spooner, Dora Garcia, Julien Bismuth etc. ont irrigu\u00e9 la recherche de Lyon \u00e0 Los Angeles, de Pays-Bas en Espagne\u2026\u00a0Le concept de post-performance questionne l\u2019impact et l\u2019h\u00e9ritage de la performativit\u00e9 sur les arts visuels. Il d\u00e9voile les artistes \u00e0 l\u2019entrainement et au travail. Un travail pr\u00e9cis qui du corps, \u00e0 la voix, \u00e0 la manipulation des objets \u00e0 la lecture des textes engage un professionnalisme loin de l\u2019id\u00e9e de l\u2019impulsion ou de l\u2019improvisation.\u00a0Il permet la naissance de nouvelles notions et leur mise en pratique par la performance (cons\u00e9quences esth\u00e9tiques et politiques) depuis les ann\u00e9es 1970 par l\u2019investigation m\u00e9thodique et la mise en prospective. Il retrace et d\u00e9passe une histoire act\u00e9e par une g\u00e9n\u00e9alogie americano-europ\u00e9enne de la performance.<\/p>\n<p><em>Post Performance Future<\/em> is a pioneering traveling artistic research project (2012 to 2022) led by art historian and curator Marie de Brugerolle. The book traces these 10 years with several generations of students and very important artists from the American West Coast scene. Workshops, seminars, key exhibitions and discussions with Andrea Fraser, Paul McCarthy, Agnieszka Kurant, Cally Spooner, Dora Garcia, Julien Bismuth etc. have fueled research from Lyon to Los Angeles, from the Netherlands to Spain\u2026<br \/>\nThe concept of post-performance questions the impact and legacy of performativity on the visual arts. It reveals artists in training and at work. Precise work involving the body, the voice, the manipulation of objects and the reading of texts engages a professionalism far removed from the idea of impulse or improvisation.<br \/>\nSince the 1970s, this methodical investigation and foresight has given rise to new notions and put them into practice through performance (with aesthetic and political consequences).
