En mettant au centre la parole des interpr\u00e8tes, figures souvent invisibilis\u00e9s de cet \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me, il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;interroger le r\u00f4le ambigu de la traduction \u00e0 l&#8217;intersection de celles et ceux qui gouvernent et de celles et ceux qui sont gouvern\u00e9\u00b7es par le droit d&#8217;asile. Dans un cadre aussi contraint, est-il encore possible de manifester, depuis l&#8217;exercice ambivalent de la traduction, des gestes fugitifs de solidarit\u00e9 ou de r\u00e9sistance\u00a0? By redirecting attention to the voices of interpreters\u2014rarely visible figures in this ecosystem\u2014the project delves into the ambiguous role of translation at the intersection of those who govern and those governed by asylum law. Within such a controlled environment, can the act of translation, with all its complexities, still express fleeting gestures of solidarity or even resistance? Through the exchanges prompted by these questions, the book seeks to reframe the prevailing public and political discourse on asylum, harnessing the embodied experiences of a small group of interpreters as an alternative lens to reveal the underlying power dynamics at play.
