Encounter #31 – Nadia Vadori-Gauthier

Tuesday November 18 at 7p.m.
One minute of dance a day – 10 years – Nadia Vadori-Gauthier
«And we should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once!» Friedrich Nietzsche
In January 2015, the day after the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack, the choreographer Nadia Vadori-Gauthier decided to go out and dance. Since then, every day, she has danced, filmed, and posted a video of her dances woven into the fabric of daily life, echoing Paris, its people, current events, and climate issues.
On January 14 2025, she posted her last dance, bringing to an end her long-term artistic adventure.
Nadia Vadori-Gauthier will discuss this ten-year long artistic project and talk about her book, published with Les presses du réel, which looks back at this artistic adventure at the intersection of dance and philosophy.
