Books on the Move comes back to the Quartz and its lively team for Dañsfabrik festival 2026. Agnès and Stéphanie will set up a large book selection in the beautiful bookstore area. They will also be offering a whole range of events that put reading, writing and the spoken word in motion (or to sleep).

open to all :
>> daily reading naptimes from Tuesday to Saturday at 2p.m., a post-lunch break to relax and listen.
>>  a get-together “what about a chat” for a collective audience discussion around the shows seen during the festival. Friday March 6, at 5:30p.m.
>> a meeting with Mélanie Papin around her book “Histoire collective de la danse contemporaine en France – 1960-1980, en passant par le moment 68“. On Friday March 6, at 5p.m.

But also as part of training courses :
>> Moving the reading workshop for a groupe of high school students (lycée Lapérouse), to play and move with some dance books in the studio.
>> A spectator’s gaze workshops around Lucinda Childs’ solos, for teachers during a full day immersion during the festival.

Bookstore’s opening hours : Tuesday March 3rd to Saturday March 7th, from noon to 10p.m.
