RÉSUMÉ
Cerebrum, Maker of Realities is a lecture/performance about the very nature of our realities, aimed at better understanding the perplexing way our brain works. This book tries to give you the experience of being in the audience at a performance in which stories, reflections, and playful experiments, which are surprising to say the least, are seamlessly interwoven.
«In the very beginning, all human beings thought that the Earth was flat because that’s what we actually see, and still do today. Then, they realised that it was in fact round.
Then, they realised that it’s the Earth that revolves around the sun and not the other way round, even though it is the sun that we see moving. It rises in the east and sets in the west.
Today, it is widely accepted within the neuroscientific community that, as our friend Kant suggested, our reality is a phenomenon that our brain CREATES…»
